Reiki Training
Reiki is transferred from Reiki Master Teachers to students through a series of attunements. Attunements, commonly referred to as “energy transmissions” adjust the vibrations of the Reiki student to the higher vibrations of the Reiki power, so that more energy can flow through the body. This process opens up an individual permanently to the Reiki energy so that one can give Reiki treatments to self and others.
Level I: Reiki Level I training (also referred to as First Degree Reiki) is taught in an all day class. We cover the history of Reiki, its uses, and how the chakras relate to Reiki. In a special ceremony you will be attuned (opened) to receive and channel Reiki. You will learn the basic hand positions for treatment for self and others with ample time for practice. There is also sharing and informal discussion. First Degree Reiki focuses primarily on physical healing energy, empowering students to use this Reiki energy for the rest of their lives.
Level II: Reiki Level II training (also called Second Degree Reiki) is taught in one day, usually three or more months after Level I. In Second Degree we learn to send healing energy across a distance, including power symbols that are used in this process. The attunement process greatly amplifies the healing energy received in Level I.
Advanced Reiki Training: This is a one day intensive. It includes: The Usui Master attunement which increases the strength of your Reiki energy, the Usui Master symbol which increases the effectiveness of the Reiki II symbols and can be used for healing. We also learn two additional healing symbols unique to our linage, and advanced Japanese Reiki Techniques, as taught by Dr. Usui.
Level III: (Third Degree Reiki) is the highest level for those who wish to become a Master/Teacher or take the additional training for self-development. Please see the Reiki Class Schedule for more details.
